Ride to the Polls
If you know someone who lives in Milam County and needs a ride to the polls in order to vote early, give them this phone number: 254-482-0905.
That's our "Ride to the Polls" Hotline. During early voting — which runs Monday Oct. 18-Friday, Oct. 29 — we'll work to hook anyone who needs a ride up with a volunteer.

Milam Democratic volunteers turned out in force for our old fashioned Rally & BBQ recently. Peggy Fischer, Boyd Taylor, Frank Summers, Sheriff David Green and John Fischer were among thos who helped serve the barbecue. You can find more photos from the event on our Facebook page here.

Linda Acosta (L) and Danica Lara (R) model our nifty new T-shirts during our old fashioned Rally & BBQ recently. Peggy Eckman (center) looks on approvingly. There are still a few size large and extra-large T-shirts available for a $15 donation. They are suitable to wear during your campaign events, putting up yard signs and block-walking! Just contact Democratic Party Chair Richard Stone and he'll get one for you!
